Cross Country-Workshops

The Cross Country Democracy Workshops were developed and initiated through intensive exchange and collaboration between the Parliaments of Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Slovakia and Ukraine, together with the Austrian Parliament. Following the concept of the Democracy Workshop programme, they promote an understanding of democracy and an interest in politics. 

During this first series of Cross Country Democracy Workshops in April and May 2026 students from the aforementioned countries had the chance to participate, work together and explore different topics handling democracy, human rights and diversity. Additionally, they had the opportunity to meet Members of Parliament from different countries.
